An Ecosystem across Industry Sectors, Regions and Other Organizations

The iSAW ecosystem is a platform where a global community of members collaborate to jointly create value through the sharing of ‘what works’ solutions for a thriving workplace

Members also belong to specific ecosystem forums relating to their industry sector, geographical regions or other organizational groupings

Features of iSAW's What Works Ecosystem

The iSAW What Works Ecosystem is characterised by a range of features that combine to accelerate the drive to greater gender equality in the workplace

Key Features of the iSAW Ecosystem

LEADERSHIP READINESS
Peer to Peer Fair Sharing

Sharing of ‘what works’ happens within peer-to-peer community forums on the digital platform. These forums will initially be defined mainly around industry sector and geography to allow members with similar business or regional backgrounds to share their challenges and offer solutions within a shared context. Members will also automatically belong to the overall community ecosystem which gives them the opportunity to also learn from, and be challenged by, those with very different backgrounds and experiences.

RAPID DIAGNOSTIC
Tried and Tested - Actionable

Members need the confidence that what is being shared has been tried and tested and known to have positively impacted the working environment. Members who share will be encouraged to include an impact statement with the insights and artifacts (e.g., policies; processes) that they share. They will also be encouraged to share what problems they encountered on their journey as well as what was tried and did not work. The platform will also allow the communities to vote on those shared items that they have found most impactful as they implement in their own organisations.

Diversity EQUALITY BENCHMARK
Benchmarking Clubs

In support of the ‘tried and tested’ principle above, where impact on outcomes needs to be evidenced, a more formal opportunity for measuring effectiveness and maturity, against both a gold standard and peers, will be offered by iSAW through Global Benchmarking Clubs. These clubs will operate both within each of the industry sector communities as well as at the overall ecosystem community and will provide motivation and insights for greatest improvement opportunities.

iSAW LIFT FOR ENTERPRISE LEADERS
Breakthrough Thinking
and Future Trends

Partnerships through universities, consultancies and though leaders will be leveraged to ensure the latest research, futurist thinking, pilot programs, successes and challenges are shared and easily accessible to the global community of participants.

BUSINESS STRATEGIC ACCELERATOR
iSAW Library

The iSAW Library will become the largest classified, summarized, searchable database on content that addresses ‘What Works’ to fix issues facing women in the workplace, with tried and tested best practices, actions to mitigate, all classified by meta data tagging for easy access by region, sector, legislative, and topic areas.

iSAW LIFT FOR WOMEN AND ALLIES
On-Demand Learning

People have less time these days to engage in structured learning and education activities which provide a ‘just-in-case’ knowledge enhancement. Rather people, want to learn in order to solve specific problems. The platform will enable such ‘on-demand’ crowdsourcing of solutions and interactions with those that can mentor them though the problem-solving process.

The Role iSAW Plays

In addition to configuring and enhancing the digital platform to ensure it enables all the above features and services for stakeholders and participants, iSAW will also act as the overall convenor and curator of the digital ecosystem community. This will ensure content is properly curated and easily searchable and accessible as well bringing together members who are facing similar challenges and enable them to benefit from experiencing a learning journey together. In addition, iSAW will act as a content initiator, selectively seeding content on areas missed by the community as well as commission think-tanks on areas where breakthrough thinking is required.

The iSAW Mindset-shift

To achieve the level of radical change required in gender balance reform in the workplace requires a fundamental culture change and mindset-shift, especially of an organization’s leaders. iSAW offers a module which allows leaders to recognize the mindsets that they bring and how these can be shifted to enable greater gender balance across their organization.
