In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, iSAW partnered with the US Embassy and Consulates in Saudi Arabia, holding 4 events for women in the Kingdom. Some events were women only and others included men allies and champions.
These events were significant and deeply meaningful for the iSAW team; the dream of iSAW was born out of a relationship between Nancy Speidel, from the USA and Ebtehal Alrewaily from Saudi Arabia. Therefore, the events supported by the US Embassy in Saudi Arabia symbolized how iSAW began and marked a significant milestone for iSAW. iSAW was honored to announce the launch of our LIFT (Learning and Intelligence For Tomorrow) platform on March 8th during the US Embassy in Riyadh event.
Ebtehal Alrewaily, iSAW co-Founder, spoke at each of the events telling her iSAW women story.
The workshops held, throughout the month of March, on the following topics:
– US Embassy Riyadh, Finding Your Brave Voice – Paddy Kennedy, iSAW Voice and Communications Thought Leader
– US Embassy / Saudi Women Stories, The Business Case for Gender Diversity – Nancy Speidel
– US Consulate Dhahran, Finding Your Brave Voice – Paddy Kennedy
– US Consulate Jeddah, Building Confidence – Nancy Speidel
We would like to thank the US Embassy staff, in Saudi Arabia, who’s dedication to supporting women in Saudi was impressive, heartfelt and committed.
