A Spotlight on Gender

During the pandemic, we failed to realize how many women were impacted in the workforce. Women of color had to suffer harsher consequences because they were often the first to be laid off or furloughed. Most women have to do extra work and extra shifts in order to support their families. However, one in four women has thought about quitting their career or stepping down due to the pandemic and the extra hardships that come with it. This alone is a call for equality and fairness towards all employees in the workplace.
