iSAW News

The WEW program was sponsored by the US Consulate in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and facilitated by the iSAW Foundation. The graduation ceremony was beautifully choreographed, both virtual and physical, with local and international attendees.

iSAW had the greatest honor to work with smart and amazing women who embarked on a 4-month journey of commitment to learning, researching and advancing their entrepreneurial endeavors.

The Consul General, Mr. David Edginton gave a heart-warming speech in which he said that, “the opportunities for Saudi Women Entrepreneurs is at its best now more than ever”. The participants were granted a lifetime access to the iSAW LIFT platform, a gift from the iSAW Founder Nancy Speidel. The gift was a token of appreciation for the participants’ resilience in seeing the course through with total commitment.

The WEW program featured experts and mentors from various disciplines and seven different countries, which speaks to iSAW’s global scope and reach. 20 participants graduated; each received a certificate award, Consulate commemorative coin and marketing book. The top 10 participants also received an iSAW commemorative challenge coin. The grand prize award went to entrepreneur: Little Purple Door – ‘No Labels Here’, a recreation center for children with disabilities. Some of the interesting feedback from the participants were as follows, “I joined this program to learn a thing about entrepreneurship, but today I found myself that I have learned many things”. Another one said, “one of the best workshops that I have attended, as it is rich in information and facts on the ground”. Another one testified that “the LIFT platform is one of the best platforms that I have seen!”
